Wedding photography and taking photographs as a professional wedding photographer is a great privilege and a joy. It is so great to be a part of a couples special day and to be in the thick of the wedding celebrations when everybody is so happy. For the last ten years I have been taking photographs as a wedding photographer and each one has been special and unique and requires different set of skills allowing me to develop as a photographer.
The one thing that is always changing are the people. As the photographer you are always working with different types of people. I try to instantly make a connection, with the everyone at wedding, in a fun and entertaining way to get the best out of them, producing the best set of photographs I can for the bride, groom and for their family.
The locations of the weddings also take me around the country and not just in Bude and the surrounding areas. I think this is important as it makes you think about new and different ways you can shoot a wedding as each setting requires a new way of shooting and being able to think on your feet pushes you as a photographer.
The photographs below are of some friends Misty and Matt who had their wedding at the Houses of Parliament. It was very special and like every wedding I have ever shot the memories stay with me forever.
