It was a real pleasure to be involved photographing the wedding day of Sophie and Tremayne. They are an amazing couple and together with their daughter Elizabeth they make a wonderful family.
My day of recording this wonderful day started at Sophies parents house where everyone was getting ready. When I arrived the bubbles were already flowing and the hair and make up artists were busy working away on the girls. The house looked beautiful and there was a really calm atmosphere. Sophie was probably the most relaxed bride I had ever worked with. A very cool cucumber.
Suddenly everything was happening really quickly and before we knew it was time to make our way to St Andrews church in Stratton. Sophies mum Judith and sister Victoria quickly worked to get the buttons on the dress done up. Father of the bride Bob was stunned as he was invited to see Sophie in her wedding dress for the very first time.
After the wedding ceremony in Stratton we headed to Rodds bridge to take some photographs with the yellow beamer. A lovely motor with an open top. Next stop Elements hotel and restaurant at Widemouth bay. The place looked immaculate and the food was superb as the guitar player sang and the forty guests or so ate lobster and drank bubbles before sitting down for their meal.
The speeches were great and Bob, Tremayne and the two best men seemed like they had lots of fun along with family and friends. The bride and groom were blessed with a lovely evening and before the sun set the cake was cut and the band began to play for the first dance.
Wishing the new Mr and Mrs Hooper a wonderful life together. many of the photos from the day can be seen by following the link and by using the following codes -
